Sens Win 3-2

Another game in Montreal, another game where Alex Kovalev was a factor.  Kovalev scored his 996th & 997th points of his career, with goals in the 1st & 3rd, as the Sens won their third straight game.  The Sens were able to sustain pressure on the Habs for the majority of the game, limiting the Canadiens’ offence and keeping them on their heels.  Brian Elliott made 21 saves, while both Erik Karlsson & Peter Regin pitched in 2 assists.  The Senators have now won six of eight since getting off to a 1-4-1 start and sit 2 points back of division-leading Montreal.  Their next game is on Tuesday vs the Thrashers.
