Everybody took part in this morning’s pre-game skate for the Senators. But you know that it wouldn’t be the Senators without some form of injury and midway through, Brian Lee left with what Coach said was a “huge kink in the neck.” He’ll be fine.
Afterwards, Clouston announced that Pascal Leclaire would be making the start this evening. The need to get Pascal into a game, in combination with the bumps and bruises Elliott is suffering from, resulted in the decision. Elliott’s injuries are not considered serious and he should be available for the first game of the road trip in Boston.
Here is Pascal Leclaire on finally starting again, Clouston on the decision and Spezza on the importance of tonight’s game.
