Sens Practice Jan 5 – Murray Speaks, Richardson returns, Leclaire skates

Practice was rather eventful today at SBP.  First, Pascal Leclaire was on the ice 20 minutes before, working with Rick Wamsley and gearing up to take part.  Once the other players arrived, Leclaire would stay for about half an hour before handing off the goaltending duties to Matt Spezza.

That wasn’t the only news, however.  Assistant coach Luke Richardson returned to the ice for the first time since the death of his daughter.  Players surrounded Richardson, shaking his hand and welcoming him back, before allowing him to take his rightful place along the boards during mid-practice drills.

Finally, Bryan Murray returned to Ottawa after taking in some of the world junior tournament in Buffalo.  Of course, everyone has been waiting for Murray to speak on all the rumours that have made their way through the media as of late and he wasted no time in commenting.
