Sens Practice Jan 15

Sens held an 11:00am practice at SBP this morning.  Beforehand, Jason Spezza was on the ice in full gear, working with the coaches.  Daniel Alfredsson, Alex Kovalev & Pascal Leclaire did not participate.  Clouston said that the team is hoping that Kovalev will return to the ice sometime this week, but that there was nothing new to update on Leclaire.  Apparently, he is still feeling the injury to his groin/pelvic/hip area and is still being examined.

The other notable absence was Robin Lehner.  He was sent down to Binghamton this morning.  Coach Clouston revealed that they wanted to send him down to work on his game.  Obviously, this means that Brian Elliott is slated to start Sunday vs Washington.  Here’s Cory Clouston on sending Lehner back and forth between Bingo….
