Sens Lose 1-0 to Bruins

Check out the highlights

A 1-0 game usually means tight defensive hockey, but this one was against the norm.  End to end action throughout the game, coupled with great skating and fantastic goaltending made this game more exciting than you would think.  The Senators outshot the Bruins 33-21 and came within inches of taking the lead when Bobby Butler hit the crossbar in the second period.  Jason Spezza also had a chance in the first when he was sent in alone on Rask but was stoned by the Bruins goaltender.

The Bruins won all 6 of the games on their road trip through Western Canada, one that started and ended with victories in Ottawa.

Here’s Nathan Horton on the goal and Zdeno Chara & Tukka Rask on the long road trip…
