Sens Practice Mar 7; Regin Out for Season

Everybody that could practice, did, on Monday morning at Bell Sensplex.  Afterwards, Cory Clouston gave updates on those out with injury.  Here’s the roundup.

Peter Regin – had shoulder surgery within the past week, out 4-6 months.  Here’s Peter Regin & Cory Clouston on Regin’s disappointing injury & season.

Milan Michalek – broken foot, out 4 weeks.  Michalek hopes to rehab and return before the end of the season.  Here are his comments from today.

Matt Carkner – having arthroscopic surgery on his knee today, out 2-4 weeks.

No further updates on Daniel Alfredsson or Pascal Leclaire.  Neither player is going on the team’s road trip.

Also, here are Chris Phillips’ & Jason Spezza’s answers when asked whether they are using the fact that they are at the bottom of the NHL standings as motivation for the remainder of the season.
