Ottawa Senators Training Camp Day 5

Training camp continued on Tuesday with the same format as this weekend’s sessions.  After Team Marsh held early practice at 9:00am, Team Boschman & Team Kyte played each other in the daily scrimmage.  This was an intense one, with several bone-crushing hits laid out by the likes of Francis Lessard, Matt Carkner & Tim Conboy.  Not all of them were good though, as Lessard ran Nikita Filatov into the boards late in the first half, causing a stoppage in play and resulting in Filatov leaving the ice.  After a checkup with the trainers, Filatov rejoined his teammates and played the rest of the game.
