Senators Practice Oct 4

The Senators hit the ice for their final pre-season practice in the nation’s capital on Tuesday morning. The lines were as follows:

Greening-Zibanejad-Alfredsson;Michalek-Spezza-Filatov; Foligno-Da Costa-Neil and Condra-Smith-Butler. Konopka was the extra man.

Peter Regin was on the ice and participating in non-contact drills, setting himself apart by wearing a grey jersey.  Coach MacLean revealed that Regin has not been cleared for contact but may be over the next couple of days.  His status for the opener is still uncertain.

Here’s Peter Regin on whether he feels he can play in the opener & whether he gave himself a good scare injuring his shoulder once again.
