Senators Practice Nov 10

Exciting news from Senators practice on Thursday afternoon.  The captain, Daniel Alfredsson, took his usual spot on a line with Nick Foligno & Stephane Da Costa and participated in all drills.  Alfredsson would later reveal that he feels “pretty good” and expects to return Friday night against Buffalo.  Matt Carkner also was in attendance, while Chris Neil was not.  Neil apparently suffered an injury to his ankle during last night’s game and will not travel with the team.  The lines were as follows:

Greening-Spezza-Michalek, Daugavins-Smith-Condra, Konopka-Winchester-Butler, Alfredsson-Da Costa-Foligno

D pairings: Cowen-Gonchar, Kuba-Karlsson, Rundblad-Phillips, Lee-Carkner

Here’s Daniel Alfredsson on how he feels and the team he’s returning to.
