Senators Practice Dec 29

 

 

The Senators held practice at 11am Thursday morning at Scotiabank Place.  Chris Phillips joined the team on the ice and took part in drills.  Here is what he had to say about his progress.

Coach Paul MacLean shuffled the lines after Tuesday night’s loss to the Canadiens.  They were as follows:

Alfredsson-Spezza-Michalek, Greening-Turris-Condra, Foligno-Smith-Butler, Daugavins-Konopka-Neil

The loss also seen Craig Anderson be pulled in the second period after allowing 4 goals to a struggling Montreal team.  Here’s his comments when asked if the bounces of a game are a determining factor for success.

Once practice was complete, Coach met with the media and gave some updates on Peter Regin and Jesse Winchester.  Regin is still evaluating his shoulder and is looking at possible surgery locations, although he has yet to decide on whether or not he is going to go through with the procedure.  Winchester has begun riding the bike, a step MacLean deemed as “positive.”
