PreGame: Senators vs Penguins Jan 10

The Senators took pregame skate at the Consol Energy Center this morning in Pittsburgh.   Afterwards, Coach MacLean announced Brian Lee would be entering the lineup, with Matt Carkner being a healthy scratch.  Craig Anderson gets the start in goal and will debut his new mask.

As for the Penguins, they are not as banged up as first thought.  Coach Dan Bylsma said this morning that when James Neal initially tested his foot, it showed a fracture.  However, after an MRI, it was determined that he only has a bruise.  Neal took the morning skate this morning and deemed himself “good to go.”

While Craig Adams will also suit up for the Penguins, the team will continue to play without Kris Letang, Jordan Staal and Sidney Crosby.  Bylsma said that Crosby is doing light exercise but nothing more.

It is expected that Brent Johnson will start in net for Pittsburgh.
