To no one’s surprise, the Senators officially sent Mika Zibanejad to Binghamton this morning. Zibanejad, who recorded 5 goals & 8 assists in 26 games with Djurgarden of the SEL, is slated to play for the Baby-Sens Friday night against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
Meanwhile, the Senators held their final practice before Game 1 of their playoff series against the Rangers Wednesday morning. For the first time since the end of the regular season, Matt Carkner joined the team on the ice. Colin Greening once again wore a Top 6 Red jersey, as did Chris Neil. Coach MacLean’s decision to use today’s ice-time as practice for their special teams was the reason for the extra body up front.
