PreGame: Rangers vs Senators Game 6 Apr 23

The Senators held preskate at Scotiabank Place this morning.  Once again, Daniel Alfredsson joined the team on the ice, making it the third straight day he has skated.  Jakob Silfverberg made his long awaited arrival as well, wearing the No. 33 and sharing drills with Mark Stone on the top line.

Afterwards, Coach MacLean would not commit to playing Silfverberg or Alfredsson.  Alfredsson, however, did say he was ready to go barring any setback this afternoon.  Silfverberg told Expressen in Sweden that he is playing as well.  So it looks like the 2 Swedes will be entering the lineup this evening.

Here is a comical situation between Paul MacLean and a Swedish television reporter, who jumps in right away due to the time difference between Canada & Sweden.

As for the Rangers, Carl Hagelin makes his return to the lineup after serving his 3 game suspension for hitting Daniel Alfredsson with an elbow to the head.  Brian Boyle will not play due to a concussion and despite erroneous reports of the flu, Henrik Lundqvist took preskate and is expected to start in goal.
