In other news, Paul MacLean has been named a finalist for the Jack Adams award as the NHL’s coach of the year.  He is up against the Blues’ Ken Hitchcock and the Rangers’ John Tortorella.  MacLean joins Daniel Alfredsson (Masterton) & Erik Karlsson (Norris) as members of the Ottawa Senators nominated for league awards.

On Saturday, Paul MacLean was asked to assess his first season as Senators head coach, as well as if there was something he wasn’t quite prepared for being the one in charge.
