After an early morning off-ice workout, followed by an afternoon on-ice practice, the Senators prospects participated in the annual Thursday night scrimmage at the Bell Sensplex.  Team White came out victorious as Mike Hoffman’s goal with 8 minutes to play gave Team White a lead they would never relinquish.  Assists on the marker were given to Pageau and Stone.

After the game, Coach Paul MacLean was asked about Mika Zibanejad; “I would have liked to have seen more from him.”

No rest for the weary, however, as the boys are on the ice bright and early at 9:30am Friday morning.

Off-Season tidbit – According to many reports, the Senators have offered defenceman Matt Carkner a 1-year deal.  Word is that Carkner has turned down the offer and will test free agency on July 1st.
