Senators Development Camp Day 7

The seventh and final day of Senators development camp was highlighted by the annual 3 on 3 tournament held at the Bell Sensplex. The prospects were split into groups of 5 (Red, White, Black, Blue, Orange & Grey) and played a round robin style until it was determined that Team Blue & Team Orange would face each other in the final.  After a chippy and hard fought affair, Team Orange emerged victorious after a Mika Zibanejad marker.  The team itself consisted of Zibanejad, Corey Cowick, Shane Prince, Darren Kramer & Jordan Fransoo.  Robin Lehner tended goal in the final.

Defenceman Mark Boroweicki was named Hardest Working Player for the second year in a row.

Off-Season Tidbits – Guillaume Latendresse tweeted that he will be wearing his old Midget AAA number for the Senators this season.  Jarkko Ruutu’s Number 73.

More Bryan Murray from yesterday – here he is on whether he anticipates making any more moves, his reaction to losing out on Justin Schultz, his update on the Alfredsson situation & whether he was surprised about how much money former players got from other teams.
