Chris Neil Signs Extension With Senators

The Ottawa Senators have signed forward Chris Neil to a 3 year extension worth $5.75 million.  Announced by the team early Thursday morning, it is said that Neil will earn $2 million in each of the first two years and $1.75 million in the third. He’ll also collect a $200,000 in bonus money on next July 1.  His career totals include 90 goals, 110 assists and 1861 PIM in 731 games.  The 33 year old has been with the Senators since he was drafted in the 6th round of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.
