Senators Practice Feb 8

The Senators held practice a half hour sooner than usual Friday morning in midst of the snowstorm hitting the capital.  Craig Anderson (maintenance), Mike Lundin (having twins) & Guillaume Latendresse (whiplash, but skated earlier) were absent.  Afterwards, Coach MacLean did not reveal his starting goaltender for Saturday afternoon’s tilt against the Jets and said they would make a decision after some discussion.

Meanwhile, Jason Spezza met with the media for the first time since having back surgery a week ago.  Here he is on when the injury first flared up, if the surgery will solve all his issues, his rehab schedule, if he’s confident in returning before the playoffs & if this will affect the longevity of his career.
