The Senators hit the ice for practice Friday morning in anticipation of their Saturday afternoon matinee against the Buffalo Sabres.  Both Sergei Gonchar & Daniel Alfredsson were present after taking yesterday off for maintenance.  David Dziurzynski continued to wear a grey sweater and Mike Lundin took a regular shift.

Afterwards, Coach MacLean confirmed that Ben Bishop would start in net tomorrow afternoon.

Injury updates: Milan Michalek has shown some improvement in his knee but is still unavailable for this weekend’s games.  Craig Anderson skated today but has yet to perform goaltending activities.  Jason Spezza remains on-schedule and is still several weeks away.
