Senators Lose 2-1 to Flyers

In a game where 2 points would’ve likely cemented a 6th place finish, the Senators came up short on both the scoreboard and in effort.  Despite outshooting the Flyers 44-25, the Senators were unable to beat Steve Mason more than once and lost for the third straight time on home ice.

No rest for the weary however, as Ottawa jumps on a plane and is headed to Boston for tomorrow night’s tilt against the Bruins.  So many playoff scenarios are dependent upon its result, deciding the fate of not just the Bruins & Senators, but also the Maple Leafs and Canadiens.  Game is at 7:00pm.
