Senators Re-Sign Mike Hoffman

The Ottawa Senators announced the re-signing of  forward Mike Hoffman to a 1-year, 2-way contract on Thursday afternoon.  Hoffman appeared in 3 games for the Sens last season before succumbing to an injury on April 2nd against Boston.  He had previously played with Binghamton, recording 28 points in 41 games.  The 23-year old was selected by Ottawa in the 5th round of the 2009 NHL draft.

The Senators also announced the 1-year extensions of Binghamton Head Coach Luke Richardson, assistant coach Steve Stirling & assistant coach Matt Meacham.  Richardson & company led the Binghamton Senators to a  44-24-1-7 record this past season, only to fall to the Wilkes-Barre Penguins in 3 straight playoff games.
