Senators Practice Oct 21

The Senators hit the ice for practice at the Canadian Tire Centre on Monday morning.  The only player missing was the “Big Rig” Chris Phillips (maintenance day).  Here were the lines.

Kassian-Pageau-Condra (Grant)

D-pairings: Methot-Karlsson, Wiercioch-Gryba, Cowen-Corvo

According to those in attendance, the session lasted 83 minutes, a Paul MacLean record.  There were an abundant amount of skating drills as Coach MacLean decided to work the players hard before Wednesday’s matchup against Detroit.  Near the end, it was said MacLean was not very happy, saying, “Do it right, boys!” & “Why aren’t we ready to go! Let’s go!!” (via @HockeyScanner).

Erik Karlsson practiced without a visor, saying he had wanted to try it for awhile now.
