Senators Practice Jan 6

The Senators held practice at the Bell Sensplex Monday morning in anticipation of their upcoming road trip.  Shortly before practice began, Chris Neil conducted some skating drills with Jason Smith as he continues to recover from his lower body injury.

Due to Jason Spezza’s impending return on Wednesday, the lines were a bit different from the past few games.  However, the success of Conacher-Zibanejad-Michalek forced Paul MacLean to keep it intact.  Here were the lines.

MacArthur-Turris-Ryan

Smith-Spezza-Stone

Conacher-Zibanejad-Michalek

Greening-Pageau-Condra (Kassian)

D-pairings – Phillips-Ceci, Methot-Gryba, Cowen-Karlsson, Wiercioch-Corvo

Anderson-Lehner

Afterwards, Coach MacLean would not reveal his starting goaltender for Wednesday but did say that Chris Neil would be going on the trip and likely return sometime within it.
