Senators Practice Jan 20

The Senators held practice at the Bell Sensplex Monday morning before heading out on their 3-game road trip.  Missing from the group was Bobby Ryan, who took an extra maintenance day.  Here were the lines.

Kassian-Smith-Neil

D-pairings – Karlsson/Cowen, Ceci/Phillips, Methot/Gryba, Wiercioch/Corvo

Anderson-Lehner

Near the end of practice, Mark Stone went hard into the boards during one of the full ice drills.  He laid on the ice for a couple of minutes before being helped up, favouring his left arm/wrist as he went to the locker room.  Afterwards, Coach MacLean said he wouldn’t be going on the trip so that he was properly evaluated.  A couple of hours later, it was announced that Stephane Da Costa was being recalled, indicating that the injury to Stone was quite significant.

MacLean also mentioned that Craig Anderson would be the starting goaltender vs the Capitals.
